Meet our Headteacher
Welcome to Fortis Academy
It is a great honour and privilege to be the Headteacher of this academy. We believe that every child deserves the best education, and we have the highest expectations for every child who attends. Our vision for every child at Fortis is to enrich their lives by building their character, resilience and aspirations, and these underpin everything we do.
At Fortis Academy we deliver an enriched and digital curriculum with high quality teaching in all three key stages. While academic success is important supporting student wellbeing and personal development is central to our work in the academy through our excellent pastoral and safeguarding structures. Both of these will ensure that students move onto their next stage fully prepared and able to achieve their dreams.
We expect students to attend school daily, be ready to learn with the correct equipment and uniform, apply themselves in all their studies and be ready, respectful and safe in everything they do.
Attending Fortis Academy is a seven-year journey, and we aim for as many students to stay within our Post 16 setting and I hope you decide to become a member of our community.
