Our Curriculum provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to develop their character and resilience. Our curriculum enables our students to realise their varied and ambitious aspirations.
Our curriculum ensures that we are ‘Enriching Lives’ for all our students throughout their journey from Year 7 to adults who contribute positively within our rich and diverse society.
In our Senior academy we believe that having made excellent progress in KS3 our students will be well prepared for the demands and opportunities of KS4.
In Years 10 and 11 in Senior academy every student begins their day with rollcall. Then with their Edge Tutor in Edge form. During this taught session students develop their understanding of what it means to be a British citizen, they develop their individual character and explore how to build resilience. Aspirations are developed through careers education. Personal, social, moral, and health education including Relationships (RSE) are taught.
