For pupils and students at Key Stages 4 and 5, the rapid approach of the summer exam season seems to dominate school life. However, with the right support, we help our pupils and students to prepare themselves thoroughly, support them to cope with the mounting pressure, and coach them in the skills and knowledge they need to achieve the results they need to progress into a career path of their choice.
An introduction to Key Stage 4
With students able to complete and be externally examined for a wide range of option subjects during Key Stage 4, alongside core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, our varied curriculum and tailor-made delivery continues into Year 10 and 11. At the start of Key Stage 4, pupils can choose to pursue two more options, with History, Geography, French, German, Spanish, Computer Science, Physical Education, Religious Studies, Social Sciences, Technology and Performing Arts accessible as part of our curriculum.
In addition to providing a supportive and caring environment that nurtures progress and maximises opportunities, home learning is particularly important to achieving results and developing an independent learning style that effectively challenges targets.
